Being involved and engaged is at the core of the student experience here at USF St. Pete. Like many other departments & student organizations, SG hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the academic year. We encourage you to join BullsConnect and join the Student Government (St. Petersburg Campus)  group to receive the most up to date information on SG events, SG leadership opportunities, and more!

Sustainability

USFSP SG partnership with the Student Green Energy Fund (SGEF) to keep our water ways clean by installing a new Watergoat on campus in Spring of 2023. Both SG and SGEF work together to keep our Watergoat & waterways clean by hosting campus cleanups! Learn more about our Watergoat installation here.

Reverse vending machine


Additionally, on campus, we have 2 Reverse Vending Machines – one located in the USC, the other outside of Bayboro. These machines collect plastic water bottle and recycles them! Learn more about our Reverse Recycling Machines here!

Civic Engagement

Civic Engagement is important to the SG team at USFSP. SG has hosted variety of initiatives such as Constitution Day, Voter Education Day, and have hosted: Day(s) at the City, County, and Capital!
