Training & Workshops

The Office of Multicultural Affairs offers a variety of multicultural, diversity, inclusion, and social justice workshops individually designed to assist students, faculty, and staff in understanding a variety of topics. Workshops are available upon request to student organizations, departments and academic classes. Programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and/or interests of the requesting organization. To ensure the success of your program, please submit your request at least three weeks prior to the program delivery date. The allows the OMA team to properly design your training and communicate any questions we may have. Please see all the trainings we have listed below. OMA will voluntarily conduct four Diversity & Inclusion Trainings. Other trainings will be upon request:

  • Part I: Diversity & Inclusion
  • Part II: Understanding Privilege and Oppression
  • Part III: Conversations on Race and Racism
  • Part IV: Micro-aggressions

Diversity & Inclusion Training will be conducted in-person in four parts during the Spring 2024 semester:

  • Diversity & Inclusion will be held on February 12th
    11:00am - 12:00pm

  • Understanding Privilege and Oppression will be held on February 26th
    11:00am - 12:00pm 
    Student Life Center, Suite 1400 (OMA)
  • Conversations on Race and Racism will be held on March 11th
    11:00am - 12:00pm 
    Student Life Center, Suite 1400 (OMA)
  • Micro-aggressions will be held on March 25th
    11:00am - 12:00pm
