BENEFITS OF REGISTERING A STUDENT ORGANIZATION
- Regular use of University facilities: buildings, grounds, services (some may have fees for use)
- Utilize Student Organization closet
- Ability to request funds from Student Government if SG policies and criteria are met
- Participation in Get On Board Day, Bull Market
- Participation in Annual Rocky's Leadership Awards

HOW DO I START A NEW STUDENT ORGANIZATION?

Go to this website and click on “Log In” at the top, choose the USF St. Pete community and create your profile.

Click “Browse Organizations” to ensure the organization you wish to start doesn’t already exist. If not then you need to complete these steps.
Step 1. Find 4 other friends to create a club (5 students total)
Step 2. Select a President and Treasurer (the only 2 required officer positions) - The Treasurer is required to take an additional budget canvas course
Step 3. Find a USF-affiliated advisor (full-time faculty or staff member)
Step 4. Create a constitution using this template
Step 5. Submit the New Student Organization form on BullsConnect
- Be sure to include (St. Petersburg campus) in your Organization's name
- Please email me (kmburroughs@usf.edu) once you have submitted the New Student
Organization form
-Your organization must be active in BullsConnect for 8 weeks before applying for
Annual or Interim funding
Step 6. Complete Student Organization Training and EMS training (you will be added to a Canvas course once you have completed step 5)
