The university comes alive during a week of exciting events which includes but is not limited to numerous game events such as trivia and bingo, the Homecoming Ball where a Homecoming Court is crowned representing each of USF’s three regional institutions, and the USF St. Petersburg campus tradition which is the Cardboard Boat Race.

Week of Welcome (WOW) provides each student an opportunity to start the semester off right with signature programs, and engaging activities. All programs and activities are designed to help you meet new people and get connected within our community. Programs will be hosted by a variety of offices to get you connected and learn more about what our campus has to offer! We are here to help you chart your path to success.

HAB offers a chance for students to hang out on the Harborwalk Lawn and watch popular movies. Students are encouraged to bring their blankets and pillows. HAB supplies the popcorn, snacks, and drinks!

Established when former Tampa Mayor Pam Lorio declared April 9th to be USF Day in 2010, the one-day celebration has grown into a week-long celebration known as USF Week. In April, USF Week features daily events celebrating the institution’s rich history and its community. The mission is to celebrate USF and instill a sense of pride within the university. Some of the events that happen during USF Week are movie nights, roller skating events, pool parties, and of course a birthday party for Rocky D. Bull!
