ABOUT US
The Office of Leadership & Student Organizations (LSO) at USF St. Petersburg under Student Life and Engagement serves as a hub for student organizations. LSO seeks to empower students to enhance their aptitude as leaders and understand how they can make a difference, whether as positional leaders or active participants in a group or community process. LSO strives to engage all students in purposefully designed leadership programming and experiential learning opportunities that support the mission of USF St. Petersburg.
Students involved in LSO programs:
- Engage in various activities to discover and nurture core passions.
- Lead by example in fostering institutional pride through interactions with students, staff, faculty, and the community.
- Gain the necessary exposure to lead effectively in various contexts.
- Actively seek and participate in opportunities that enhance their ability to lead in diverse settings.
- Participate in activities that build confidence and provide practical leadership and decision-making experiences.
