Who is eligible to be a Pearl?
- Be an Active USF Student.
- Have lived in the foster care setting for six months or more.
Yes, it is that simple! Success does not come without determination and grit. As a Bull, we know you are determined and ready for success, and the journey can be difficult to navigate and when it does we are here for you. We encourage all students to engage at their own pace and willingness.
How to become a Pearl?
A member of our team contacts each students who have utilized the DCF waiver. If you
are a current student and believe you meet our simple eligibility requirements but
do not qualify for the special waiver, do not fret, complete a self-referral by emailing
us.
If you are a prospective or newly admitted student, be on the lookout for communication
from our office shortly after acceptance to USF.
