Changes to Wellness Center Operations
Please note: you must be physically located in Florida to obtain telehealth services, per professional licensing guidelines.
The Wellness Center will continue to serve our students during the Spring 2021 semester, in conjunction with maintaining a work environment that is consistent with USF guidelines for safety and health.
Our office staff can be reached via phone (727-873-4422) for questions about services and scheduling during normal business hours (Mon-Wed and Fri 8am-5pm, Thurs 9:30am-5pm, closed daily from 12-1pm for lunch). Please note that some responses may return in the form of email as needed, because we will not be fully staffed every day of the week.
Counseling, victim advocacy, and health education services will continue to be delivered remotely, unless a specific need warrants exemption from this policy. Medical services will also be delivered remotely, with limited availability for in-person appointments.
Due to staffing and safety considerations, we will not be available for walk-in services. Access to our office will only be granted to students who have a scheduled appointment and have been screened by our staff during normal business hours. When you arrive for your appointment, please call to notify us of your attendance, and wait outside the office until your provider is available. Please note that masks will be required at all times in our office.
In cases of emergency or urgent needs, please call the office so that a staff member can determine the best way to serve your needs. We will prioritize responding as quickly as possible and offer same-day telehealth appointments as available. We will also continue to provide access to after-hours consultation services.
