Student Health Services

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

During Business Hours: If you are having an urgent medical concern, the Wellness Center offers walk-in or same day appointments during regular business hours Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

After Hours:  For urgent medical concerns that are not life-threatening, please visit a local walk-in clinic or emergency room. 

Victim Advocacy/Violence Prevention Services

During Business Hours: Walk-in appointments may be available during regular business hours Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, based on advocate availability, for individuals with urgent advocacy needs, including:

  • Serious safety concerns
  • Sexual violence within the past 120 hours
  • Urgent assistance with filing a police report or injunction for protection

After Hours: If you have urgent advocacy needs while the office is closed, an advocate is available through our 24/7 Victim Helpline at 813-974-5757.

Counseling Services

During Business Hours: Wellness Center professionals are available for same-day brief screenings (15-20 minutes) for assessment and intervention between Monday – Friday 9:00am-12pm and 1:00-4:00pm.
