Judy Genshaft Honors College class experiences the high seas firsthand

Students from five Honors Colleges in the State University System boarded a research vessel for an overnight trip into the Gulf of Mexico. While on board, they participated in lab-based research, observed marine life, and explored society's relationship with the ocean.

Anthropology Professor Heather O’Leary, an expert on global inequities in water politics, women’s rights, the environment and urbanization, has been selected as one of just 40 delegates for the International Science Council for the United Nations 2023 Water Conference.
