Professor Jim Ivey loves teaching the field methods class, where students get to develop their own route of study - from proposal to presentation.

His passion for teaching comes from the knowledge that he is giving students information and lessons learned that can be used to make the world a better place.

Potential Internships and Careers

At USF St. Petersburg, Bobby Calhoun was required to complete an internship as part of a capstone course for his major.

His internship with Pinellas Public Works turned into a temporary job collecting red tide samples. From there a full-time job was quickly offered.
