The Sustainability Studies is an interdisciplinary program. That means if a student chooses, they can double major in fields such as business, anthropology and environmental science and policy. As long as the majors relate to sustainability, which can impact everything from entrepreneurship to global conservation.
This multidisciplinary approach is unique and reflects the varied nature of sustainability. The program includes the study of environmental science, implementation of that science via policy and development of skills associated with the business aspects.

Students will normally begin progress toward the major by taking at least one course from the major core, as these often serve as prerequisites for the electives.
