Town and Gown is a non-profit organization designed to promote understanding and friendship between the USF St. Petersburg campus and the community.
TOWN & GOWN AWARD
The Town and Gown Award recognizes the efforts of a person or program on the USF St. Petersburg campus that enhances the quality of life at within the University and our city of St. Petersburg. This award recognizes an outstanding contribution by a University faculty member, staff member, or a group or program in teaching, research, service, or communications.
The St. Petersburg Town and Gown Award may be awarded to a department, program, or administrative unit in recognition of, or in honor of, the work of an individual or group at the USF St. Petersburg campus. Members of Town and Gown are invited to submit nominations for the award in writing to the President of Town and Gown by March of each year. Due to university policy, monetary awards cannot be given to an individual.
The organization has given over $142,600+ to programs and scholarships across USF St. Petersburg campus.
