Ceremony Schedule

Fall 2023 Commencement is scheduled for Friday, December 8 - Saturday, December 9 and will be held at the Yuengling Center basketball arena on the Tampa campus for students from all three USF campuses. 

Friday, December 8: 6:30pm: Bachelor's degree recipients from the colleges of Behavioral and Community Sciences, Nursing, Public Health and the following Schools and Departments from the College of Arts and Sciences: Communication; English; History; Humanities and Cultural Studies; Philosophy; Religious Studies; School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies; Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences; and World Languages 

Saturday, December 9: 9:00am Bachelor's degree recipients from the colleges of the Muma College of Business, Engineering, Education, The Arts, and the Office of Undergraduate Studies 

Saturday, December 9: 1:30pm Bachelor's degree recipients from the College of Arts and Sciences in the following Schools and Departments: Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications; Anthropology; Molecular Biosciences; Integrative Biology; Chemistry; Economics; School of Geosciences; School of Information; Journalism and Digital Communication; Mathematics and Statistics; Physics; Psychology; and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies  

Saturday, December 9: 6:30pm Master's, educational specialist and doctoral degree recipients from all colleges: Arts and Sciences, Behavioral and Community Sciences, Muma College of Business, Education, Engineering, Patel College of Global Sustainability, Graduate Studies, Marine Science, Morsani College of Medicine, Nursing, Taneja College of Pharmacy, Public Health and The Arts 


Registration closes on November 24, providing students ample time to register to attend. Your registration confirmation email is proof of eligibility to attend Commencement for visa purposes to allow your overseas guests to attend. Please note that attending USF Commencement is not required and students receive diplomas in the mail approximately six to eight weeks after the end of the semester regardless of whether or not they attend a ceremony. 


There are no tickets required for guests to attend Commencement and no limit on how many guests each graduate may bring. Ceremonies are livestreamed via the USF YouTube channel for those guests who are unable to attend
