The USF Police Department offers personal self-defense and awareness courses for the USF Community. The class is taught by USF Police Officers and staff.

Students who participate in the program will learn physical tactics and verbal techniques and ground defense. The techniques taught in this class are designed to maximize confidence and build on instinctive responses to potentially vulnerable situations.  This is not a Martial Arts program.
