Annual Security & Fire Safety Reports

The Annual Security & Fire Safety Report contains information about our policies and procedures regarding campus security, fire safety, emergency response and evacuation procedures, sexual assault, missing student notification, and other matters disclosed in accordance with federal laws.

Campus Security Authority

Under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (the “Clery Act”), Campus Security Authorities (CSAs) play a vital role in the timely and accurate reporting of certain crimes and incidents for each separately-accredited institution within USF.

Timely Warnings / Crime Updates

The purpose of crime alert bulletins is to inform the USF St. Petersburg community of incidents or activities occurring in the community, which may pose a threat to their safety and security.

Sexual Predators/Offenders

The federal Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act requires colleges and universities to issue a statement advising the campus community where state law enforcement agency information concerning registered sex offenders/predators may be obtained.

Suspected Scams and Frauds

This report contains information regarding suspicious incidents including possible frauds and various forms of phishing scams. These are not confirmed fraudulent activities, but do contain various suspicious indicators. It is recommended that you exercise caution and diligence before responding to or activating any hyperlinks in the email or letter you received.

Title IX / Sexual Harassment

This guide is for students and employees who experience rape or other sexual violence, sexual harassment, relationship or dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
