In September 2025, the 2022 and 2023 Annual Security & Fire Safety Reports were revised to reflect changes to the following:
- Motor Vehicle Theft Statistics – The statistics for Motor Vehicle Thefts have been
updated to reflect guidance received during a recent Clery Act training that, for
Clery Act purposes, electric scooters and electric bicycles are considered personal
motor vehicles. The Motor Vehicle Theft statistics have been updated to include the
thefts of electric scooters and electric bicycles, which have caused this number to
increase from what was previously reported for calendar year 2022.
- Arrest and Referrals for Disciplinary Action Statistics – The statistics for Arrests and Referrals for Disciplinary Action for Weapon, Drug, and Liquor Law Violations have been updated after a recent internal review revealed errors in reporting these statistics. After internally reviewing reports from calendar years 2022 and 2023, the statistics for Arrests and Referrals for Disciplinary Action for Weapon, Drug, and Liquor Law Violations has decreased from what was previously reported for those years.
