Main Events

The city hosts hundreds of events and festivals each year, from the Shine Mural Fest to the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg to Reggae Rise Up. And every Saturday, students can pick out fresh, local veggies at one of the largest weekly fresh markets in the Southeast U.S.

You don't have to go far to find a cool music venue or unique museum in St. Pete. From the world famous Dalí Museum to the exciting music acts at Jannus Live, you can find something to fit your vibes and tastes.

The Great Outdoors

Even though St. Petersburg is a bustling downtown, you don't have to go far to find yourself some nature. Beautiful waterways and shady hammocks are found across the city and you can always locate a restful outdoor hideaway if you look hard enough. There's year round sunshine in St. Pete, so get outside and explore!

No car? No problem!

The SunRunner, a hybrid electric rapid bus that can take individuals from downtown to St. Pete Beach in 35 minutes, has a stop on campus with service arriving every 15 minutes. Best of all, USF St. Petersburg ID holders ride free.
