Candidate Timeline
Below is the selection timeline for RAs applying to the role for the 2027-2028 academic year. Please note that this timeline is subject to change.
Important Note: The dates listed above are subject to change. RAs who are selected will have additional
dates of mandatory in March and April.

2027-2028 RA Application Opens Access the application via handshake (Job# 11613636) or through the Qualtrics for here. |

RA Information Sessions Learn about what an RA is, the position requirements, and significant impact the role
has on the student experience. |

November 18, 2026 @ 7 pm |
RA Mix & Mingle Join current RAs to learn about the role and their experiences in a fun, social environment |

November 22, 2026 @ 11:59 pm |
2027-2028 RA Application Closes @ 11:59 pm All completed applications will be reviewed by staff. A complete application includes submitting the application questions and including a resume. Incomplete applications and applications submitted past this date will not be accepted. |

January 11, 2027 |
Candidates Receive Update In Selection Process RA candidates are updated on their application status. Finalists are invited to register for the RA interview. Interview time slots are on a first come, first serve basis. |

January 22, 2027 |
Interview Registration Deadline Deadline for RA finalists to register for both an individual and group interview. Finalists who do not register for an interview will no longer be considered for the role. |
|
January 25, 2027 – January 31, 2027 |
Interview Week for RA Finalists RA finalists will register for a two-part interview, an individual and a group interview. Both sessions can last up to an hour and will be face-to-face. |

February 12, 2027 |
RA Finalists Notified Finalists are notified of their status in the selection process. |

February 19, 2027 |
RA Finalist Deadline to Accept/Decline offer Finalist must sign offer letter to formally accept position. All candidates are encouraged to connect with financial aid to discuss the potential impact the role has on their financial aid package. |

Late March |
2027-2028 RA Meet & Greet Mandatory kickoff event for all 2027-2028 RAs to attend. |
