Summer Scholarship

Are you a new first year student at USF St. Petersburg and starting this summer?

If so, to support your transition to USF St. Petersburg, Undergraduate Studies is launching a new scholarship program exclusively available to new students who begin their New Bulls in the 'Burg journey this summer! The scholarship award is limited to 150 students! 

Scholarship Selection and Notification Timeline:

  • Applications are now open and due May 1, 2024.
  • Students will be notified on May 6, 2024
  • Students must accept scholarship by May 20, 2024 

Applicants are required to submit a short essay, which will be used to assess how this award will benefit you during summer enrollment and ensure your success as a first-year student at USF St. Petersburg.

The 98% Club


Before students graduate, they join the “98% Club”, a degree completion milestone which clears them to apply for graduation. As we ramp up for the upcoming commencement season, we are excited to highlight a few students who have joined the 98% club!

What does Graduation mean to you? 

Naudia King
Naudia King: Graduation is finishing what I started when I decided that I wanted to go   to school. It means that I am committed to succeeding no matter how many   challenges I faced, face, or will have to face. It means that I promise myself to never   give up on learning and growing to be a better person.

Ty Grant
Ty Grant: Finally, being able to walk across that stage means the world to me. I have   worked so hard these past four years, and have went through so much in my life. It is a   complete honor!
