Food Pantry

Mission

To reduce the anxieties of food hardship and hunger among USF students at the St. Petersburg campus by providing temporary food and basic needs assistance to promote health and wellness.

OVERVIEW

St. Pete Feed-A-Bull Market is a USF St. Petersburg campus resource pantry. Started through support from student government motivated to address concerns for students facing food security issues. The market's goal is to provide emergency food assistance to students-in-need and collaborate with the Office of Student Outreach & Support to supplement additional support to remove barriers related to chronic food security issues.

St. Pete Feed-A-Bull is primarily available to all 'active' students at USF St. Petersburg campus, with the understanding that we would not turn away a current usf employee should the need arise for them. It is free of charge and all-inclusive. There is no limit to the number of times a studnet can use the pantry. While we provide signage with recommendation of food selections within each food group, we believe in empowerment and self-autonomy is important for all patrons. Each has full autonomy in their food selection.

The market is a collaborative effort from multiple campus partners to you and our mission is possible because of these partnerships. Together we hope that no one has to go hungry.
