Starting/Closing Labs
NEW LAB/PERSONNEL
The New Lab Checklist includes helpful information to get new labs connected and operating. The New Lab Safety Supply Checklist will assist personnel in determining which safety supplies need to be purchased to run a safe laboratory. Please provide EH&S with information regarding personnel changes using the Lab Registration Form.

MOVING/CLOSING LABS, ART STUDIOS, AND SHOPS
EH&S will need to be notified when labs, art studios, or shops (LASS) are transitioning or closing. If a LASS has more than 20 chemicals to be disposed of, then a lab clean-out form will need to be submitted. If a LASS is moving locations, click the moving chemical’s link for guidance.
