We are thrilled that you have decided to Live The Bull's Life at the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg. We want you to be as prepared as possible for move in as it is a very fast-paced and eventful two days! USF Housing has efficient and smooth Grand Opening each year and we can't wait for you to be a part of it this fall!

When should I arrive on August 20 or August 21?

USF St. Petersburg students will select a move-in time between 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20 or Friday, August 21 in the Housing Portal and should plan to arrive during the timeframe they selected.

Move In Sign Up details will be emailed to your USF email account in the coming weeks.

Review parking and transportation information prior to your arrival! More information on Grand Opening parking can be found here.
Grand Opening is a busy day! Please be patient with your fellow Bulls and our staff as you move in.
We have a limited number of courtesy carts for residents to use. Please bring your own cart or hand truck if you have one, as we do not have a cart available for every resident moving in.
Order and activate your USFCard before moving in. Remember to order your USFCard and activate the card before arriving on campus, as this will be how you will access your residence halll. Residents can also pick up their USFCard when checking in on Grand Opening.
Arrange travel plans ahead of time! Moving to college can be extremely stressful and cause a lot of emotion. Make sure you finalize your plans, arrange travel, and prepare for where to go on move-in day before arriving on campus.
