The Second-Year Experience provides students a chance to get MORE out of their sophomore year. Through tailored social programming, and exclusive career exploration opportunities, second-year students will be supported every step of the way. There’s no room for a sophomore slump when you’re having the best year ever!
Learning Journeys: Learning Journeys are faculty- or staff-led activities, focusing on an academic specialty, hobby, or interest of the faculty or staff member. Geared towards second-year and transfer students, Learning Journeys provide an opportunity for students to learn more about potential career paths while getting to know faculty and staff outside of the classroom.
Life Skills Boot Camp: In collaboration with the Career Center, Leadership and Student Organizations, and Student Centers and Events, COMPASS is proud to offer a one-day Life Skills Boot Camp each spring. Featuring everything from understanding finances to moving off campus, the conference gives students the tools they need to succeed after graduation.
