Application Gateway

Access USF licensed applications and virtual desktops hosted in the cloud. The Application Gateway is available to current students, faculty, and staff. Please login using FOREST\YourNETID or YourNETID@usf.edu as your username.

Computer Labs & Printing

Open-use computer labs provide students access to computers, university licensed software, and printing services. Your USF NetID may be required to log into lab computers. Computer labs are intended only for currently enrolled students with a USF Net ID. Computer labs are located in multiple locations on the USF St. Petersburg campus and virtual computing is also available.

Housing

As a resident, you have access to high speed Internet (up to 100 Mpbs upload & download on the USF St. Petersburg fiber optic network), HD Cable TV channels in every room (requires an HD-Ready TV), and telephone service with premium features available to you for free.

Virtual Computer Lab

The USF St. Petersburg Virtual Computer Lab provides access to university licensed applications on virtual desktops running "in the cloud." These virtual desktops will run on your personal computer or device from on and off campus. You can access these desktops from a web browser (HTML Access) or using the VMware Horizon Client.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

The USF Virtual Private Network (VPN) allows you to access USF resources remotely. A VPN client is required to connect to the virtual private network.

Wireless

Wireless (or WiFi) access is available in all USF St. Petersburg academic buildings and throughout the campus. Wireless access is free to all individuals with an active USF NetID. Guests can also access wireless by selecting the USF-Guest wireless network.
