Overview

Audio Visual Services is now part of the Office of Campus Computing. The primary responsibility of Audio Visual Services is to support the teaching and research efforts in the classrooms at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus. This includes the development and support of state-of-the-art media technology resources, systems, networks, and equipments. Audio Visual Services also supports the AV technology located in many of the department conference rooms and meeting spaces.

Audio Visual Services is dedicated to providing media support to the USF St. Petersburg campus. It is a service-oriented department with responsibilities in the following categories:

  • Scheduled credit classroom activities (E&G supported) and/or administrative services directly related to instruction
  • Scheduled classroom activities, grant or other non-E&G supported
  • Administrative services not directly related to instruction

To help support this mission, our professional staff provides support for AV technologies in all on-site classrooms. Each classroom is equipped, at a minimum, with a projector or wall display, computer, and sound system. Instructors may arrange for other standard AV equipment as needed by contacting Audio Visual Services.
