Transfer Support

Overview

Pinellas Access to Higher Education (PATHe) is a collaborative partnership established by the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg College. 

PATHe is designed to support you as you begin your college education at St. Petersburg College (SPC) and then transfer to the University of South Florida (USF) St. Petersburg to complete your Bachelor's degree.

As a member of the PATHe program you will:

  • Benefit from the strengths of two public Florida institutions standing together to provide you with a high-quality undergraduate education
  • Acquire direct access to a PATHe Advisor to guide you through the transition to USF St. Petersburg campus

pathe Services Available:

  • Develop an academic plan to be successful at SPC & USF St. Petersburg
  • Assist with the transfer process from SPC to USF St. Petersburg
  • Provide and navigate resources
  • Select a degree program
  • Advice about financial resources and scholarships available for students transferring to USF St. Petersburg

Contact a PATHe Advisor to discuss your options and develop a customized plan to continue your journey in higher education.

As a PATHe Student you will be required to:

  • Meet with PATHe Transfer Support Advisor at least two times per semester while studying at SPC and USF
  • Attend one SPC or USF event per semester
  • Complete one volunteer activity or internship per academic year

BLUE/GOLD SCHOLARSHIP:

PATHe offers scholarships to eligible students who transfer from St. Petersburg College to USF St. Petersburg.

  • Students must be admitted to USF and have USF St. Petersburg as their designated campus
  • Students have attempted no more than 90 credit hours, not including credits earned as part of dual enrollment or accelerated credit programs
  • Students must have completed at least 75% of all courses attempted and have a 3.00
    cumulative GPA
  • Completion of an A.A. degree is highly recommended

Kennedy was part of our PATHe program, which allows students to earn an AA degree at SPC and then seamlessly transition to USF St. Petersburg to earn a Bachelor’s degree.
