SAIL - Summer Academy for Investigative Learning

The USF St. Pete 2026 Summer Academy for Investigative Learning (SAIL) is a 6-week program for undergraduate students. Meetings begin late May and are typically twice per week; sessions will be hybrid, including in-person events, field trips, and virtual workshops.
If selected, you will be expected to attend all 12 meetings as well as the Final Symposium on July 22, 2026. SAIL introduces undergraduate participants to the profound significance of research in our ever-evolving society, challenge them to confront local and global issues, and empower them to actively engage in research endeavors at USF and beyond.
