USF World St. Petersburg Staff

WENDY SAGE BAKER, DIRECTOR

Ms. Baker is responsible for leading campus-wide internationalization efforts and promoting a global culture at the university by sending University of South Florida St. Petersburg students on international experiences and bringing international students and programming to the university. USF World USF St. Petersburg is comprised of global engagement and international programming.

Ms. Baker came to USF St. Petersburg from the USF Muma College of Business, where she held the position of Assistant Director of Graduate Studies for fourteen years. During her tenure at the Muma College of Business, she served as the Advisor in Residence for the USF Know Europe program and has traveled internationally to recruit students. Prior to that she worked in USF Human Resources as a Sr. Personnel Representative (Classification and Compensation) and for the Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs as an Administrative Assistant.

Prior to joining USF and pursuing her MBA, she worked as a Human Resources Manager for Montgomery Ward department store. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of South Florida. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Program Development from the University of South Florida.

JOSEPH KENNY, EDUCATION ABROAD PROGRAM MANAGER

Mr. Kenny is responsible for administering and marketing all university faculty-led programming as well as registering all Non-Affiliate, Student Related Travel, and Independent Travel applications. He also is responsible for all outgoing and incoming exchange students.

He is a graduate of Boston University with a B.A in History. He attended Fudan University while studying Chinese language in Shanghai, China and believes that overseas study is a formative experience for students.

ANGELICA RODRIGUEZ JIMENEZ, INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADVISOR

As Designated School Office (DSO) for the university Ms. Rodriguez maintains immigration records for all international students and issues the Form I-20 to all incoming international students. She is Dominican by blood and Cuban by heart. A graduate of Florida State University with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Political Science and a concentration in Religion, she has worked with international students for the past five years and enjoyed every minute of it. She loves to look at sunsets as well as go hiking. She looks forward to helping our students grow here at USF St. Petersburg.


GLORIA PARROTT, EDUCATION ABROAD PROGRAM ASSISTANT

As the office assistant of USF World St. Petersburg, Ms. Parrott assists with office operations, billing, reconciliations and the managing of some Education Abroad programs. She provides support for the USF St. Petersburg Global Advisory Council and committees.

She is currently a part of the Music Industry Recording Arts program at St. Petersburg College studying Music Composition. She likes writing music, making music and traveling.
