Orientation Policies

Student Agreements

Please read the terms and conditions presented in the Orientation Student Agreement. Students are required to read and agree to the terms and conditions within in order to complete their Orientation reservation.

Mandatory Orientation Attendance

Orientation is required for all newly admitted students. All newly admitted students must complete Orientation for the campus to which they are admitted prior to beginning classes.

The Orientation requirements must be completed in order for a student to enroll in and subsequently attend classes. Students who do not complete all aspects of the Orientation experience will be required to attend another session or update their term of entry to a future semester. Parents, friends or family members may not attend in lieu of the student.

Students will not be excused from all or part of an Orientation session to attend a high school graduation. Students should choose an Orientation date that does not conflict with these events.

Student Appearance Statement

Students are asked to dress in such a manner that is respectful of others, appropriate for the situation, and promotes a positive learning environment.

Refund Policy

Refunds for student and/or guest fees are considered in limited circumstances. Review our Refund Policy to review the conditions.

Special Accommodations

Orientation strives to provide the same experience to all participants.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we provide special accommodations to students and guests who require this to participate in the session. Requests are often submitted for assistance with mobility, vision or hearing issues.

If you need any type of accommodation during your session, please email OrientationStPete@usf.edu so we can ensure that all your needs are met. Requests should be submitted at least fourteen (14) business days prior to your session. In cases of emergency situations, we will do our best to meet your needs.
