Partnership with local brewery creates first USF-branded beer
For the first time, the public can now purchase a beer crafted with USF at its core – from its branding to its brewing process. Brewed by USF alumni at Mastry's Brewing, it features a student-designed label. A portion of all proceeds will go to support USF's Brewing Arts program.

Rare, giant millipedes unearthed in graduate student's conservation research
Before scientists knew how many Florida scrub millipedes remained in the wild, a quiet breakthrough occurred in a USF lab when the rare species reproduced in captivity. The success is the result of conservation research led by graduate student Anne Sawl, whose work is revealing long-missing information about a species found nowhere else in the world.
