The Chancellor’s Advisory Council on Issues of Diversity & Inclusive Community and the Office of Multicultural Affairs celebrate the contributions of students from Pinellas County Schools and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus.

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Award will be presented to select students: Pinellas County Middle and High School students, and USF St. Petersburg campus undergraduates who:

  • exhibit extraordinary commitment and dedication to community service, volunteerism, social justice, and/or civil rights  
  • exhibit leadership that has significantly impacted their community 
  • have persevered to overcome challenges, either at school or personally 

Award winners will be honored during an awards celebration on Wednesday, January 26 at 2022 at 6:30pm and be presented with a plaque in recognition of their contributions.

The online nomination form is due by Monday, December 6. Students may self-nominate via this link as well.
