Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards

The Chancellor’s Advisory Council on Issues of Diversity & Inclusive Community and the Office of Multicultural Affairs celebrate the contributions of students from Pinellas County Schools and the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Awards will be presented to select students: Pinellas County Middle and High School students, and USF St. Petersburg campus undergraduates who:
- exhibit extraordinary commitment and dedication to community service, volunteerism, social justice, and/or civil rights
- exhibit leadership that has significantly impacted their community
- have persevered to overcome challenges, either at school or personally
Award winners will be honored during an awards celebration on January 12, 2023 at 6pm in the USC Ballrooms, and will be presented with a plaque in recognition of their contributions.
